I seek refuge in ALLAH from satan the rejected.
In the Name of ALLAH, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

16:51 - ALLAH has proclaimed: "Do not worship two gods; there is only one god. You shall reverence Me alone."

Follow-up verse:

22:19 - Here are two parties feuding with regard to their Lord. As for those who disbelieve, they will have clothes of fire tailored for them. Hellish liquid will be poured on top of their heads.

Comment

We see through the above two verses that ALLAH has used the words "two gods" and "two parties". This clearly shows us that even though there are numerous religions and sects, but in the view of ALLAH, it really boils down to only two --- the believing and the disbelieving groups. This is why in verse 22:19 it specifically mentions the "disbelieving group and their punishment", rather than the believing group. The believers have faith and belief in everything that comes from ALLAH, through the Scripture, and therefore they never DISPUTE about anything, and only praise their Lord.

36:60 - 36:61 - Did I not covenant with you, O Children of Adam, that you shall not worship the devil? That he is your most ardent enemy? And that you shall worship Me alone? This is the right path.

7:172 - Recall that your Lord summoned all the descendants of Adam, and had them bear witness for themselves: "AM I NOT YOUR LORD?" They all said, "YES. WE BEAR WITNESS." Thus, you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, "We were not aware of this".

39:45 - When ALLAH ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. BUT WHEN OTHERS ARE MENTIONED BESIDE HIM, they become satisfied.

Important Note

For a clear definition and meaning as to what ONE ALLAH means, and what IDOLATRY - 2 gods means, through the Miracles and Proofs of Quranic verses, see sections "Revelation of 1" and "Revelation of Idolatry - 2 gods" on this Web site, later on, inshallah.

The majority of humans believe in a Creator, a Higher Authority or Power called ALLAH. They also believe in the existence of Satan, and of evil things happening through him. The vast majority of humans are not certain that ALLAH IS ONE, as "THE ABSOLUTE", and therefore fall into the trap of idol worship, like Satan did; by rejecting, disobeying, and rebelling against the command of ALLAH, when asked along with other angels to fall prostrate before Adam. All of the angels complied, except Satan. This represented gross arrogance on his part. Therefore, ALLAH has called Satan a "misleader, and a profound enemy of ALLAH".

ALLAH is the Initiator and the Creator of the universe and of all the creations, and He has set up laws for everything. His commands flow through the universes. If we comply with His laws, we are submitting to Him. And, if we do not, then we have idol worshiped by following Satan's command to disobey ALLAH, thereby becoming an enemy of our Lord (25:55).

25:55 - Yet, they still set up beside ALLAH idols that cannot benefit them, nor harm them. INDEED, THE DISBELIEVER IS AN ENEMY OF HIS LORD.

Though ALLAH possesses "Absolute Power" to command and control all creations; by His own design and system, He has allowed Satan to interfere in ALLAH's messages and to mislead, dupe, and corrupt humans who are mindless and doubtful of their Lord. Satan has no power to create anything, neither can he corrupt humans that are devoted to ALLAH ALONE (38:83).

Each individual, at the time of death, realizes their destiny. They know whether they believed in ALLAH by upholding His commands, or blindly, willfully followed Satan, in opposing ALLAH and His Words. Accordingly, we will be judged on the Day of Resurrection and assigned an Eternal reward of Paradise, or an Eternal punishment of Hell.

Quran, the Final Testament, defines that the only Creator and Initiator of the Universe and the creations is ALLAH. At the same time, it gives definite insight into the history before the humans were sent to earth. It also tells us who Satan is, and what happened during the Heavenly Feud, due to which "the Test" was created by ALLAH. This was instituted to see whether we appreciate, recognize, and acknowledge "THE SEEN AND THE UNSEEN" BLESSINGS on Earth as from ALLAH (or not). Also, to see whether we accept ALLAH's commands through His Scripture, or oppose them and follow Satan's commands. For this reason, the Earth has a finite term and is according to ALLAH's specific Divine Plan and time.
